Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy covers bottomsup.com, hub.bottomsup.com (checkout, pay links and the customer portal), the Magnet Designer, and the emails and texts we send you.

2. What we collect and why

• Your name, business, email, phone, shipping and billing addresses: to take and ship orders, send receipts and answer questions.
• Payment details: the card or bank account is entered into Stripe's form and goes to Stripe, never to our servers. We keep the brand, the last four digits, the expiry and Stripe's token. With your consent we keep a card on file; the consent email says how to remove it.
• Your bank account number, if you set up a bank debit through our bank form: kept encrypted for the debit file, with the authorization you signed.
• Artwork, logos and designs you upload for custom print, and the proof you approved.
• Order history, invoices, payments, refunds and the acknowledgments you gave at checkout (time, IP address, browser).
• Sign-in details through Clerk or Google (email, name, the sign-in id). We never see your Google password.
• Texts: the phone number you gave the rep, what we sent and when, and any STOP.
• Website basics: IP address, browser and pages visited, for security and to keep the site working. No advertising trackers.

3. Cookies

A sign-in cookie for the customer portal, a session cookie on checkout, Stripe's fraud-prevention cookie on payment pages, Clerk's sign-in cookie, and the store's own (Wix) cookies while the store runs there. No third-party advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; checkout and the portal stop working without the sign-in and session ones.

4. Who we share it with

The companies that do a job for us, each named with that job:

• Stripe: payments, saved cards, bank debits, receipts.
• Clerk and Google: customer sign-in.
• Google Workspace: our email, including receipts sent from cs@bottomsup.com.
• Wix: the online store and its cart, and Wix Payments for orders placed there before the hub checkout.
• Fishbowl: orders and inventory, on our own server.
• QuickBooks and Intuit: accounting, invoices, and QuickBooks Payments for invoices paid there.
• Avalara: sales tax.
• FedEx and the other carriers on the label: shipping.
• Printful: shirts and stickers are printed and shipped by Printful; they get the name and address on those orders.
• GoTo: texts and phone.
• HubSpot: contact forms and sales follow-up.
• DigitalOcean: hosting for hub.bottomsup.com.
• Stax: older card processing, being retired.

Your artwork is shared with a brand owner only when a logo on the order belongs to someone else and they must approve it.

We don't sell your information. We share it with the police or a court when the law requires, and we tell you if we can.

5. How long we keep it

• Orders, invoices, receipts and payment records: 7 years (tax).
• Artwork and saved designs in your account: removed after 2 years with no order, and we email you 30 days before so you can say "keep it". The print files and approved proofs of orders we actually made stay with the order record for the 7 years, because they are the record of what you approved and we printed.
• Card-on-file consents and bank authorizations: 2 years after you remove the card or cancel the authorization.
• Text logs: 4 years (the texting rules).
• Sign-in records: while your account is open and 1 year after.

6. Your artwork and who at Bottoms Up sees it

Staff who run the press and the order desk can view and edit your artwork to produce the order. The original you uploaded is kept unchanged; edits are logged. We never use your artwork to promote Bottoms Up without asking.

7. How to see, fix or delete your information

Email cs@bottomsup.com from the address on your account, or call (317) 388-5100. Say what you want deleted (artwork, a saved card, a saved design, the whole account). A person deletes it by hand, usually within 10 business days, and emails you when it is done.

We keep what the tax and payment rules make us keep (orders, invoices, consents, and the print files of orders we made) and tell you what stayed. Deleting artwork from your account means a reorder needs a fresh upload.

8. Texts

Consent records and phone numbers are never sold or shared outside the company except as the law requires. Reply STOP to any text to stop them.

9. Security

Payment pages are Stripe's; card numbers never touch our servers. Everything is sent over TLS. Staff access is by role and logged. If a breach affects your information we notify you as Indiana law requires.

10. Children

The site is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

The date at the top changes when the policy does. The version you saw at checkout is kept with your order.
